Put on your party shoes - it's time to celebrate!

Yesterday the State Government announced it would extend the construction deadline for the Federal Government’s $25,000 HomeBuilder grant.

Home builders initially had three months to start building their home after signing a contract with their builder, which has now been extended to six months, with the scheme set to end in June 2021.

So what does this mean exactly? It means that that you you still have between now and December 31, 2020 to sign a contract to build a new home, however it gives us the chance as your home builder, the opportunity to ensure you have a better chance at meeting the construction deadlines to enable you to secure the grants.

If you're eligible for the Federal Government’s $25,000 HomeBuilder grant as well as the State Government's $20,000 Building Bonus grant - that's $45,000 worth of grants that can go towards your new home.

And it's even better news if you're a first home buyer, with an extra $10,000 on top, making the incentive up to $55,000 which is the largest incentive EVER offered to Australian homebuyers!

Sales Manager for Easystart Homes Kelly Mellor, said yesterday's announcement was a huge win for the industry.

"This is a once in a lifetime opportunity and we want as many people as possible to benefit from the incentives on offer," Mr Hunt said.

“With the extension of the grants, coupled with historic low interest rates - there really has never been a better time than now to build.”

Don't delay your home building journey any longer and contact us today to secure the grants!
